About
Learning from first principles
What you'll find here
- Lessons from Grade 3 upwards — Primary and Lower secondary maths, science and computing, then Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS & A Level and the IB Diploma in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science — written in plain English, with worked examples, common mistakes, videos and quizzes.
- Research, distilled: landmark papers explained so a curious student can follow them, always linked to the original.
- DIY projects with step-by-step instructions and the science behind them.
- How it works: how everyday things work and how they're made, from radios to glass, each explained at five levels from Grade 3 to adult.
Who it's for
Schools, their teachers and their students. A school registers, invites its teachers and students, and approves each one. Teachers choose which lessons, exam practice, digests, projects and explainers their students can open, and can publish private material that only their school sees. Anyone can try the first lesson of each course.
